About Wedding Venues

Wedding Venues?
I'm getting married next June 6, 2009. I live in the Denver area and am interested in anything in this area or it's surrounding area (even Colorado Springs would work). I'm would love an outdoor venue that can accomodate up to 300 guests. I also need a venue that allows outside catering. I'm needing a time frame from about 6pm-1am. I am flexible on the outdoor venue part, as long as the venue can accomodate 300 guests and allows outside catering. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks.

You may want to go to a local bookstore and find a book called Here Comes The Guide. It has detailed information about many, many venues, including max. capacity, operating hours, catering, and much more. Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize this is only a Northern California guide. You could try looking at sites on http://www.theknot.com.

What kind of food are you looking for? I've always liked Thai Basil. The Flying W Ranch http://www.flyingw.com/ is certainly an interesting experience too. Edelweiss is good too for the German & Austrian food and not too expensive. Tripadvisor has reviews for some 740 restaurants in Colorado Springs: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g33364-Colorado_Springs_Colorado.html

About What is the policy on 16 year olds and working a full time job in Colorado

What is the policy on 16 year olds and working a full time job in Colorado?
My friend's kid is coming out to Colorado Springs soon and he wants to get a full time job. He's leaning towards jobs like Petsmart, Subway, Quiznos, etc. If anybody knows if there is an age requirement or a limit on hours worked please let me know. Thanks.

About I want to find a nice hotel room for Saturday night in Colorado (mountains/colorado springs)

Hi guys. I want to find a nice hotel room for Saturday night in Colorado (mountains/colorado springs)?
Can you recommend a place where I won't spend more than $150 for two adults? Hopefully that will be available on short notice. . . Even if it won't work for this weekend, are there any nice cabins/hotels you've stayed in in the Colorado mountains that aren't so expensive?

my advice ( I've lived in Colorado my whole life) and I wouldn't go to Colorado Springs to go to the Mounatins. It is too far away and it doesn't offer a lot as in way of recreation. Estes Park is the best place to get the feel of a mountain town , at not the mountain town price. The famous Stanley Hotel isn't that expensive and it is beautiful. The Rocky Mountain National Park is AMAZING! You can see all the wildlife in the park ( Bison, elk, deer, beavers birds etc..) try here http://www.estes-park.com/

About Thinking of moving to Colorado Springs, CO

Thinking of moving to Colorado Springs, CO!?
What are some nice, clean and safe apartments in Colorado Springs that are affordable? I am a 19 year old girl currently living in UT and I do not like it here!! I am not planning on attending college but am currently in the process of writing a novel. I'm not real worried about getting a job because I don't really care where I work. I just want to find a nice affordable apartment to stay at where I can feel safe!

Hello, My name is Anna. I have lived in Colorado Springs all my life and I love it here. There so many things that you can do here and see. IF you are looking for a safe place to live in Colo Springs. There are so many places here. There are bad spots to live in every state I think. But to answer your question. That would be up on the North side of the Springs. The south side is the bad spot here. There shooting and break-ins all the time down there. Denver is a bad place as well. Like I said before I have lived here all my life and I never feel safe up there. Oh yeah, there military here as well. There is a lot to them to choose from. Ha ha! Anyway, If you are really interested in moving here? E-mail me at hottyraider1972@HTML.com. Or you can find me on myspace. It's the same E-mail to find me there and I will help you find that great, affordable, and safe place for you to live. I hope that I was some help to you? You never know? Maybe, you might meet you a nice soldier man out of the deal. Oh yeah, there are jobs out here if you have the right experience and the right education. THAT is the biggest hang up on the jobs here that you have to have a diploma and/or G.E.D. To be able to have a good job and the money to survive on out here. Well, I think that I talked you enough in circles and hope to hear from you soon? Truly sincere, Hazel Raider
