Free car diagnostic Colorado Springs, CO?
So my heater isn't working anymore on my 2002 Dodge Dakota. I suspect it's the blower fan, but it could also be the switch or thermostat. I just need some kind of confirmation because i don't know how to test it myself. I'm trying to find out if i can get a free diagnostic somewhere in Colorado Springs Actually it can't be the switch because I can hear it turning on. Also it can't be the thermostat because I can feel hot air coming out. So I'm 97% positive it's the blower fan

Many car repair places will diagnose for free if you pay them to fix it. Otherwise you will be hard pressed to find someone to do this for you. Fans are usually easy to test, so why not do it yourself. You will need two long wires and a 12 volt source. Unplug the fan and then run 12 volts directly to the fan to see if it turns. If no, then you found the problem If yes, look elsewhere.

everyplace scans for free but that doesn't help 1 well..fan work or not..use ears 2 is truck heating up enough? got coolant [low coolant can cause no heat] 3 ever flush coolant system [like it sez to in you owners manual]..reverse flush heater core 4 no joy..let your mechanic do it..its too cold out anyway..lol
