About Know a good therapist, psychologist or psychaiatrist in Colorado Springs/Denver-Metro area

Know a good therapist, psychologist or psychaiatrist in Colorado Springs/Denver-Metro area?
I'm looking for a good therapist in Colorado Springs who accepts patients with no insurance. I've never had any sort of therapy before, but I'm assuming that doesn't make a difference on who I would see. I just don't know where to look, or what to look for. Amongst other things I'm having a really hard time dealing with a break-up. The relationship lasted 6 years. I wish that there was someone I could talk to with an unbiased opinion who may be able to provide me with some coping tools/mechanisms to make dealing with everything a little easier. I live in Lakewood, and work in the Springs so I'm pretty flexible on where I could go for an appointment.

If you follow this link you should be on your way. Many of the Psychologists will have a private web link wherein you may get some feed back from some of their clients. You may want to start out with choosing a Psychologist and once you are comfortable with them and you decide to stay with them the will be able to recommend a good PSYCHIATRIST since they work so closely together in providing treatment options for those in need of such services. In scheduling an appointment time be sure to mention you will be paying out of pocket. You may want to ask if they offer a sliding fee scale. When you discuss your form of payment issue you will be informed what type of payments they accept. Cash, personal check, or credit card and more than likely they will inform you that they expect payment at the time of service rendered. Best wishes and Good luck to you.
